This is the portfolio of Chris Rotsteeg. I proclaim to be a visual interface and interaction designer. Graduated at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, I have a strong bond with art, media and design. Fed up with complete flash portfolios, I decided to go with the Web 2.0 flow using Wordpress because it is uber. It’s also a good way of meditation and spamming the evil world with visuals and thoughts.
Right, lets get to know each other. I’m Interactivechris and do stuff with my creative talents. Think of front ending websites, designing banner, coding flash games, making art and so on. Have a peekaboo in the portfolio section if you’re interested. When I’m not like the other Sherry Turkle victims of life on the screen, I get inspired by contemporary art and nature. I even have found some spare time left to read.
Currently, I’m employed at R&D Media in Amsterdam, where I’m responsible for the interactive design of our brands, which have their origins in mobile entertainment. Next to that, I’m a freelance designer and always working on some interesting projects. One of them is Panzafaust, an independent art label for those who benefit from a free mind. I joined the Culture Drone cell of Rotterdam in October 2006: An international nonprofit organization that evolved in the Tribe Without A Medicine Mann (TWAMM) group. As a founding member I participate, produce and discuss art that brings neglected issues of the day out into the limelight.
